Im just 5 weeks and waiting for the morning sickness everyone talks about, nothing yet. For some friends it started early for some never. When did the nausea actually hit u, and is it really only mornings?
Around week 7 my nose turned into a superpower, I could smell my neighbours dinner and instantly feel like throwing up. It does pass though, hang in there!
My mother in law gave me a little lemon water and some jeera to chew which eased my early morning queasiness. But if you cant keep any food or water down, do tell your doctor, it can get serious.
Mild nausea is normal in early weeks, but if youre vomiting many times a day and losing weight or feeling very weak, please see your gynac. That kind needs treatment, dont just tough it out.
Usually starts in first trimester, around 6 weeks, and eases by the start of second trimester for most. With my first it was bad, with my second barely anything. Every pregnancy is different.
For me the nausea kicked in around week 6 and was worst from 7 to 11 weeks, then slowly settled by 14. They call it morning sickness but mine was all day yaar. Small frequent meals and dry biscuits helped a little.
I felt the worst right after waking up and the smell of food cooking would set me off. Empty stomach made it worse for me, so I kept something light by my bed to nibble first thing.
