When do you get frequent urination during pregnancy?
Just got my positive test last week and im already running to the washroom thoda zyada. Is it too early for this or does it start later na? Curious when it usually kicks in for everyone.
chill maro, this is super common and starts pretty early for most of us. dont stress too much about it, just make sure u empty your bladder completely every time u go.
currently in my 35th week and honestly, my bathroom has become my permanent bedroom. it started early but now in third trimester the baby is using my bladder as a football.
my doctor explained that in first trimester hcg increases blood flow to pelvic area making u pee more. then in third trimester uterus physically presses the bladder. so its a two-phase thing mostly.
now that my son is a toddler, i actually laugh thinking how i used to wake up 6 times a night just to pee. it starts right from the first few weeks and goes away immediately after birth, so hang in there.
mine started around month 2 itself and my hospital care team told me it is normal. but do ask your doctor if there is any burning sensation, as my gynac said uti is very common during this time.
mainly in first trimester and then again in third trimester when baby head presses down. dont waste money on buying expensive pregnancy pee funnels or stuff, just use normal clean toilets and save for those upcoming scans.
straight up, it happens in the beginning due to hormones and then at the end because baby is growing big. but please do not stop drinking water just to avoid going to the loo, u need hydration.
actually yaar, it starts quite early itself but the third trimester is next level. i had to plan my travel in pune traffic according to which mall had clean washrooms.
oh god, this started for me right from week 6 and lasted till the day i delivered! i literally felt like crying sometimes because of zero sleep. but hang in there, once u hold your baby you will forget all this struggle.
