When does 7 months start in pregnancy?

I keep getting confused with the week to month counting. Doc says im 26 weeks now so trying to figure if my 7th month has started or not. Someone pls explain how u all count it.

Week 28 is the start, that's also when third trimester begins. Almost there mama.

7th month roughly starts around week 28 and goes till about 31 weeks. This is when the third trimester begins. Your doctor counts in weeks so always go by the week number on your reports, not just months.

My tracker app showed 7 months kicking in at week 28. The month vs week thing confused me too first, so I just followed weeks since thats what the gynac uses. Apps make it so much easier honestly.
