Just found out im expecting and so far no vomiting at all, only slight nausea in mornings. My sister says it comes later. Curious from which week the actual throwing up usually begins?
Usually starts in the first trimester, around 5-6 weeks for most. Some get it morning only, some all day, the name morning sickness is a lie honestly. Small frequent meals work better than big ones.
I'm 7 weeks now and the nausea just started this week, mostly evenings for me. Is it normal that it began a bit late? Reading this makes me feel less alone actually.
For me the vomiting kicked in around week 6 and was worst till about 12 weeks, then slowly settled. Keep dry biscuits or toast near the bed and eat before getting up, it really helped me. Hang in there, mostly it eases by 2nd trimester.
Mine started right when i got attached to my favourite biryani, betrayal at its finest ha. Usually first trimester is the vomit season. It does pass, your nose just hates everything for a while.
My amma told me to suck on a small piece of lemon and it did calm my stomach in the early weeks. It mostly starts in the first 2-3 months. But if you cant keep any food or water down at all, do tell your gynac, that needs attention.
