When does baby skin color develop during pregnancy?
Im in my second trimester and got curious about this. Everyone in family keeps asking will baby be fair or dark lol. At what stage does the skin colour actually form inside? Just wondering.
Dont get caught up in this colour worry, please. The baby will be healthy and beautiful regardless. Skin tone is genes and it settles in the first months after birth anyway.
Babies come out all wrinkly and changing colour like a mood ring haha. Real skin tone shows up weeks later. So no point stressing, just enjoy your pregnancy.
My gynac said skin pigment develops in the later months but the actual colour keeps changing even after birth. Babies often look different at birth than later. It is mostly genetics, nothing we can change in the womb.
