When does breast tenderness decreased in pregnancy?
The soreness has been there since week 5 and its been pretty uncomfortable. Im 10 weeks now and just waiting for it to ease up a bit. When did it get better for you all?
I felt so much pain in my first trimester that even wearing a bra was hard. But around week 12, it suddenly got much better and I felt such a relief. Our bodies are so amazing at adjusting!
While it usually decreases after the first trimester, please check with your gynac if you have sudden severe pain or any unusual lumps. It's always best to be cautious.
For me, the tenderness reduced significantly as I entered the second trimester. It's just the initial hormone surge, so stay active and positive, it gets much easier!
Hey, don't worry at all. Your body is just adjusting to the new hormones, and the soreness usually fades by week 12 to 14. Just wear comfortable clothes and pamper yourself.
Oh god, when my breast tenderness suddenly stopped in week 9, I panicked and thought something was wrong with the baby! But turns out it's completely normal for symptoms to come and go. Don't stress like I did!
Applying a cold compress or fresh aloe vera gel really helped me soothe the soreness naturally. But if you have any severe pain or redness, do consult your doctor once.
Honestly, just switch to seamless, non-wired cotton bras during this time. It reduces the rubbing and pain. The soreness will go away on its own by the 4th month anyway.
I'm in my 16th week and the tenderness has almost gone, but now I'm anxious if this is normal. Did anyone else's soreness completely disappear around this time?
