Im 9 weeks and getting these mild cramps on and off, feels like period type. Gynac said its normal as uterus is stretching but I still get worried every time. By when did it settle down for you all?
Mild cramping is normal as the uterus expands, usually settling down by the second trimester. Since I have PCOS, I was extra cautious and always updated my doctor about any pain. If it feels severe, don't wait, call your gynac.
I completely understand how terrifying every little cramp feels, I used to panic constantly in my first trimester. Usually, mild cramps stop around week 12, but if you feel severe pain or any spotting, please call your doctor immediately for peace of mind.
Mine stopped around week 12, thank goodness! It was making me lose my appetite for hot samosas. But definitely get it checked by your doctor if it's severe or accompanied by bleeding, okay?
Mild cramping in the first trimester is just your body preparing for the baby, try to stay positive and chant a little. But if the pain is very strong or has spotting, please contact your doctor immediately. God bless.
For most women, the mild stretching pain goes away after the first few months. Please take plenty of rest. If the pain is sharp or heavy, please show it to your doctor right away.
