When does fallopian tube rupture in ectopic pregnancy?
I am sorry for scary question, but my doctor is monitoring me for possible ectopic and I am very anxious. I have mild pain and keep worrying it may become emergency. What warning signs were you told to watch for?
It usually happens in the early weeks, often around 6 to 10 weeks if its not caught early. I had an ectopic and the warning was sharp one sided pain. Please if you have a positive test with pain, go to the doctor at once, this is an emergency type thing.
I know reading about this is scary, i overthought everything too. It typically happens in early weeks if undetected, but an early scan usually catches it well before. If something feels wrong, sudden bad pain, please dont wait, get help.
It can happen in the early weeks, but the whole point of early checkups is to catch it before that. Dont let yourself spiral, beta. If you have sudden severe pain, dizziness or shoulder tip pain, go to hospital immediately.
My gynac told me rupture risk is highest in the first trimester, commonly between 6-10 weeks as it grows in the tube. Thats exactly why early scan to locate the pregnancy is so important. Early detection prevents the rupture.
