Lately i keep forgetting small small things, like where i kept my phone or what i was just saying lol. Im around 4 months now. Is this the famous pregnancy brain and when does it usually begin?
I am in my 7th month now and my memory is absolutely gone, like actually gone. I keep forgetting my phone inside the fridge! Does it get better in the 3rd trimester or does it stay like this until delivery?
I have heard my pregnant friends talk about this a lot! They say 'pregnancy brain' can start as early as the first trimester because of all the new hormones. I am currently trying to conceive and hope I don't start forgetting my keys everywhere when my turn comes!
For me, the forgetfulness started in the second trimester and honestly, it continued even after my C-section because of sleep deprivation. Your brain is just preoccupied with the baby. Just laugh it off and keep sticky notes around the house, it's just a phase.
OMG, 'baby brain' is so real! I literally walked into the kitchen to grab my favorite mango pickle yesterday and forgot what I went in for. For me, this extreme forgetfulness started right in my second trimester, around week 16.
Please don't worry, it is a very common and normal part of the journey. The fatigue, hormonal changes, and lack of good sleep, especially after week 12, can make your mind feel quite foggy. Try writing down important things on your phone notes, it really helps.
It's completely okay if you are feeling forgetful and scattered lately, don't be hard on yourself. I used to panic thinking I was losing my mind in my first trimester when my forgetfulness started. It is just your body working so hard to grow a life, so take a deep breath.
