Im 6 weeks along and have my first scan coming up soon. So eager to know by when the tiny heart starts forming and beating. Anyone remember at which week they could see it on their scan?
It develops in the first few weeks itself, around 5-6 weeks dear. My family was amazed how soon. Your doctor will show you the heartbeat on the early scan, such a sweet moment, dont miss it.
My gynac told me the heart starts forming really early, around the 5th-6th week, and the heartbeat can often be seen on scan by 6-7 weeks. I cried happy tears at my first scan when I saw that little flicker.
