First pregnancy and im so curious about everything. I think im around 5 weeks now. Just wondering at what week the babys heart actually starts beating? Cant wait for that scan.
It begins around the 6th week dear. My amma kept saying once you hear the heartbeat everything feels real, and she was right. Your doctor will check it at the dating scan, no need to worry before that.
My doctor told me the baby's heart starts forming and beating around 5 to 6 weeks, but you usually cant hear or see it on scan until about 6-7 weeks. At my early scan they showed me the flicker and it was the most amazing moment.
At my first scan around 6 weeks they couldnt see it clearly and I panicked so much, but next week it was there. Did this happen to anyone else? Sometimes its just a bit early to catch it.
I felt my heart stop when I saw the little heartbeat on the screen, it was around 7 weeks for me. They say it starts beating by week 6 actually. Such a special feeling, you'll love it.
