I am only 15 weeks but already getting burning after spicy food. I thought heartburn comes much later when baby is big. When did it start for you ladies?
Heartburn is very common throughout pregnancy, dear. For some, it starts early in the first trimester due to hormones. For others, it gets really bad in the third trimester when the baby takes up more space and pushes on your stomach. Try to eat small, frequent meals and avoid lying down right after eating.
Heartburn can actually start quite early, even in the first trimester, due to hormonal changes relaxing the esophageal sphincter. But it often gets worse in the third trimester as the baby grows and pushes on your stomach. So, it can happen anytime, really.
Yaar, I used to overthink every little twinge, including heartburn! It can start any time, actually. For some, hormones in the first trimester trigger it. For others, it's the growing uterus pressing on the stomach later on. Try to identify your triggers, like spicy food or certain drinks. And remember to talk to your gynac if it's really bad.
I totally understand, heartburn is such an uncomfortable part of pregnancy for many of us. For me, it actually started pretty early, in the first trimester, and then came and went. In the third trimester, it felt constant. Just remember it's a sign your body is doing amazing work, and try small meals to ease it.
Oh, heartburn was a constant companion for me, and I was so careful with my diet because of gestational diabetes. It started for me around the second trimester and got quite bad in the third. Eating smaller meals and avoiding spicy or very rich foods helped a little. Always good to discuss it with your doctor too.
Aiyoo, heartburn! It's such a common thing ho na? For me, it started in the second trimester only, like after 4-5 months. Then in the last few months, it was really bad. My gynac said it's normal because of the hormones and baby growing. Try avoiding spicy food, it might help.
