I'm 28 weeks pregnant, and the heartburn is just constant now, especially after meals. It's becoming very uncomfortable. Does heartburn ever stop during pregnancy, or will I have to deal with it until delivery?
It actually gets much better once the baby drops down in the third trimester, and then disappears completely after delivery. I remember having it so bad during late pregnancy, but now that my baby is here, I can eat comfortably again. Try eating very small meals and avoid lying down immediately.
OMG same here, I am currently in my 28th week and the heartburn is just crazy at night! Does it really only go away after delivery or is there some magic trick to make it stop now? I am literally surviving on cold milk.
I know how exhausting every single symptom can feel, especially after everything you've gone through to get here. For me, the severe heartburn only settled after my delivery, but keeping my head elevated with extra pillows helped a bit. You are doing so well, just hang in there.
I haven't experienced this yet as we are still trying, but my sister said it can be quite uncomfortable. I really hope you find some relief soon. Sending you lots of gentle hugs.
A glass of cold milk or chewing some saunf after meals worked wonders for my acidity. But if it's extremely painful chest burning or you can't keep food down, please check with your doctor once. Usually, these simple home remedies are enough for normal heartburn.
