Im 30 weeks and noticed nothing yet, while a friend said hers started leaking by now. Got me wondering if im behind or its just different for everyone. When did it start for you?
The early milk called colostrum can start forming around the second trimester, and some women notice a few drops in the later months. For me it was around month seven, just a little leaking. It's completely normal and a good sign your body is preparing.
I didnt see anything during pregnancy honestly, mine came mostly after delivery. Bodies vary so much. So if you see drops in late pregnancy great, and if you dont, also perfectly normal.
My doctor explained that colostrum production usually begins from around 16 weeks, but actual leaking, if it happens, is more common in the third trimester. She said no leaking at all is also normal and doesnt mean less milk later. So dont read into it.
Oh I was wondering the same! I'm in my 5th month and nothing yet, was getting a bit worried. Good to know it can come later or even only after delivery. Anyone else not seeing anything yet?
