Currently 30 weeks and a friend told me leaking can start before delivery itself. I havent had anything yet so now im wondering if thats normal or if something is wrong. When did it start for you all?
It varies a lot. With my first nothing leaked till after delivery, with my second I noticed some in the last weeks. Dont worry either way, it doesnt predict how much milk you will make later.
I am in second trimester and havent seen anything yet, is that okay? Reading this makes me feel better that it can start late or not at all. Thanks for sharing, I was a bit anxious.
For me the colostrum, that thick yellowish first milk, started leaking a little around the third trimester. Some women see it earlier, some not at all before delivery, both are normal. A soft nursing pad inside the bra kept me comfortable.
