Right now im in 2nd trimester and feeling actually quite okay, kind of enjoying it. But people keep saying wait till later. From which month does it really start getting uncomfortable?
Discomfort usually peaks in the third trimester because of the baby's weight putting pressure on your back and bladder. However, if you experience sudden severe swelling, extreme headaches, or high blood pressure, please contact your doctor immediately.
It's completely normal to dread the discomfort, I used to worry about how I'd cope. Sickness makes the first trimester hard, but the physical heaviness and backaches of the 8th and 9th months are a different level of uncomfortable. Take it one day at a time, you are stronger than you think.
Sitting here at 36 weeks, I can tell you that EVERYTHING is uncomfortable right now! Even sitting, standing, or just breathing feels like hard work. But hang in there, the cute baby at the end makes it all worth it!
For me, the real discomfort started around the 28th week, right at the start of the third trimester. Suddenly rolling over in bed felt like a major athletic event and my feet started swelling up!
Honestly, the third trimester is when the struggle is real, around 30 weeks onwards. You can't sleep, you can't breathe, and baby is playing football with your ribs. But don't stress too much, pregnancy pillows and foot rubs from hubby are life savers!
