My test is positive and gynac has called me for scan but im so impatient na. Roughly how many weeks before the baby actually shows on scan? dont want to go too early and get worried for nothing.

Oh my god, I went at 5 weeks and they saw nothing, I panicked so much and cried for days! But when I went back at 7 weeks, there was a beautiful heartbeat. So don't rush, wait till 7 weeks.
My doctor told me that the gestational sac can sometimes be seen around 5 weeks, but the baby's heartbeat usually shows clearly only by 6 to 7 weeks. Going too early will just cause unnecessary stress. Wait till 7th week for a clear scan.
Practically speaking, don't waste time going before 6 or 7 weeks because u won't see much and will have to take another day off for a repeat scan. Book your appointment for the 7th week so u get a clear result in one go.
