When does shortness of breath start in early pregnancy?
Im barely 8 weeks and already feel out of breath just climbing the stairs. Thought breathlessness comes later when belly grows. Is it normal this early or am i overthinking? would love to hear when it started for others.
A little breathlessness can be normal, but I want to gently say, sudden or severe shortness of breath, chest pain or dizziness should never be ignored. I had to get checked once for it. When in doubt, please call your gynac.
I started feeling a little out of breath climbing stairs around my second trimester and got anxious. Did others feel this early too? My doc said mild breathlessness is common but to tell her if it ever feels severe.
Some women feel mild breathlessness early due to hormonal changes, even in the first trimester. It gets more noticeable later as the baby grows and pushes up. Mild is normal, but if its sudden or severe, call your doctor.
