Delivered 12 days back and my feet and hands are still pretty swollen, didnt expect this after delivery honestly. Getting a bit impatient now. How long did it take for urs to come down?
I delivered five weeks back and honestly the swelling took a good 2-3 weeks to really settle. My feet were puffy for a while, then it slowly eased. Keeping my legs up and drinking water helped me.
After my c section the swelling took a bit longer, around three weeks for me. The body holds a lot of fluid from the surgery na. Gentle walking once allowed and resting with legs raised made it go down.
Usually it reduces in a couple of weeks. But if one leg swells more, or it comes with pain or high BP, please call your doctor right away. That part should not be ignored.
