33 weeks chal raha hai and lately there's so much pressure down there. Just curious when does the baby usually drop, is it close to delivery or can happen early also? anyone with experience?
Actually yaar, for first-time moms it happens like 2 to 4 weeks before labor. For my second baby, it happened almost at the end during labor itself. It varies a lot honestly.
Baby dropped around week 36 and from that day I was practically living in the washroom! You feel like a heavy bowling ball is resting between your legs, but at least acidity gets a bit better!
During my 37th-week checkup, my doctor clearly explained that the baby had engaged in the pelvis. If you feel increased pelvic pressure or find it easier to eat, definitely ask your doctor to confirm during your next scan.
My saas noticed my tummy looking lower around the 35th week and said the baby has settled down. She was right, my breathing got lighter but walking became quite heavy after that!
For me, the baby dropped around the 36th week and I suddenly felt I could breathe much easier, though toilet trips increased. It usually happens in the last few weeks of your third trimester.
