When does the baby grow the most during pregnancy?
Im around 5 months and just curious which phase baby grows the fastest. Want to eat extra well and rest properly during that time. anyone know when its peak growth?
I worried about this so much! Every scan I'd be like, is the baby growing enough? My doctor always reassured me that the last trimester is where the real growth spurt happens, especially weight-wise. Just keep up with your diet and appointments, and try not to overthink every tiny detail like I did!
Haan, last ke teen mahine mein hi baccha sabse zyada badhta hai. Wahi time hota hai jab apko sabse zyada achha khana aur aaram karna chahiye. Weight gain bhi wahi se start hota hai bacche ka. Toh apna bahut dhyan rakho.
It's natural to wonder about these things and even feel anxious about your baby's growth. I had a lot of anxiety too. Generally, the baby grows quite a lot in the third trimester, gaining most of its weight and really developing. Trust your doctor's updates from your scans, they are the best indicators.
Honestly, it felt like my baby grew all the time! But if I look back, the last few months, especially the 7th, 8th, 9th, that's when you really start feeling the significant changes. Suddenly your belly pops and the baby becomes super active. Enjoy this time, soon they'll be running around and you'll miss this bump!
Usually, the third trimester, especially from around week 28 onwards, is when the baby really gains a lot of weight and develops all its organs fully. The first trimester is more about formation, the second is growth, and the third is where you see rapid weight gain and fat development.
For me, because of my thyroid, my doctor closely monitored baby's growth throughout, but especially towards the end. They always stressed the importance of scans in the third trimester as that's when weight gain is most significant for the baby. So keep up with your regular check-ups.
Oh, this is such a good question! I'm planning my pregnancy and I keep wondering about all these milestones. So, mostly in the third trimester then? That's really helpful to know so I can prepare better for those last few months. Thanks for asking this!
