When does the pregnancy test become positive?

I tested 2 days before my period date and it was negative but I still feel something is different. Did I test too early? When did the line actually show up for u all?

Mine showed positive about 2 days after I missed my period. I tested earlier out of impatience and it was negative, which scared me unnecessarily. So waiting really does help get a clear line.

It usually turns positive around the time of your missed period, once the hormone is high enough in your urine. Testing a day or two after the missed period with morning urine gives the clearest result. Too early and it can stay falsely negative.
