Im 20 weeks and bump is showing nicely now. I keep applying oil hoping to avoid marks but not sure when they actually start coming. Want to be prepared, when did urs appear?
They usually come in the later months as the bump grows, beta. They are completely normal, every body is different. Oil the skin and be kind to yourself, they lighten after the baby comes.
Usually in the second half of pregnancy when the skin stretches most, so around the 6th month onward. Genetics decide a lot of it though. Keep skin oiled, but dont stress, they fade with time.
Mine showed up around the 6th-7th month when the belly grew fast, mostly on the lower tummy and hips. I felt a bit sad at first but honestly they faded a lot after delivery. Moisturising daily kept the skin softer.
