I'm really struggling with morning sickness and throwing up almost daily. When does vomiting typically stop in pregnancy? I'm hoping for some relief soon.
I recently delivered my baby, and for me, the severe vomiting finally stopped around week 14. Some days were hard, but keeping dry crackers by my bedside and eating them before getting up really helped.
Honestly, for most women, it stops or gets much better by the end of the first trimester, around 12 to 14 weeks. But if you have extreme vomiting and can't keep even water down, go straight to your gynac.
According to medical studies, morning sickness usually peaks around 9 weeks and subsides by week 12-16 as hormone levels stabilize. However, if it's severe vomiting that causes dehydration, please check with your doctor immediately.
Usually, it gets much better as you enter your second trimester. Eating small meals frequently really helped me control the nausea. Just stay positive, your body is doing amazing work!
I was so sad when morning sickness ruined all my favorite foods in the first trimester! But luckily, by week 13, the vomiting stopped completely and my cravings came back with a bang. Hang in there!
Actually yaar, my vomiting went on till the 5th month! It was so exhausting. But for most of my friends, it stopped around the 3rd month itself. Just hang in there, it will pass!
