My doctor mentioned a doppler scan in my next visit and i forgot to ask her when exactly its usually done. Im 28 weeks now. Just wanted to know around which week others got it, so i can plan.
My gynac scheduled my colour doppler around the 3rd trimester, somewhere near 30 to 34 weeks, to check the blood flow to baby. She said it's not always routine, depends on how baby is growing. Your timing may differ so go by what your doctor advises.
Mine was done later in pregnancy because they wanted to monitor baby's growth closely. With my thyroid I had extra follow ups anyway. Keep going for your regular checkups and the doctor will tell you the right week.
I kept asking my doc when doppler will happen because I was overthinking baby's movements. She calmed me down and said it gets done in last months if needed. Try not to worry too much like I did, easier said than done I know.
