Went for my first scan and they said its too early to see the fetal pole yet, come again after some days. Im around 6 weeks and now im just anxious waiting. By which week does it usually show up?
My doctor said the fetal pole usually shows up around 6 weeks on the scan, sometimes a bit later. In my early scan at like 5 and half weeks they couldnt see it yet and asked me to come back in a week, and then it was there. So dont panic if it's not seen first time.
Roughly 6 weeks is when it's typically visible, but every pregnancy measures slightly differently early on. If yours wasnt seen yet, that early scan was probably just done a touch soon. Hang in there, the follow up scan tells the real story.
In my IVF journey I learnt it's normally around 6 weeks, but a few days here and there is very common depending on dates. The wait for that repeat scan is so hard, I know. Try to stay calm, your doctor will track it properly.
Around 6 weeks usually. Dont read too much into an early scan that's done too soon, sometimes dates are just off by a few days. The repeat scan almost always clears it up. Let the gynac decide timing.
I'm going through this exact wait right now, my first scan didnt show it clearly. They told me to come after 10 days. Fingers crossed for both of us, it's so nerve wracking na.
