When first heartbeat during pregnancy?

Im 6 weeks and have my scan coming up next week. So nervous and excited to hear the heartbeat. By which week did u all get to hear it for the first time?

My doctor said the heartbeat usually becomes visible on scan around 6 to 7 weeks. Before that it can be too early to detect, so dont panic if an early scan misses it. She rescanned me a week later and there it was.

Try not to count days too anxiously. It shows when the time is right, usually by the 6 to 7 week scan. You will hear it soon, hang in there.

I felt my whole world change when I heard that little heartbeat on the scan. It was around 7 weeks for me. Honestly I cried happy tears right there.
