When in the menstrual cycle is pregnancy most likely?
We just started trying this month and i honestly dont fully understand the timing thing. My cycle is mostly around 30 days. Which days should we be focusing on, would really help if someone explains.
I used an ovulation tracker and it showed my fertile window as the 5 days leading up to ovulation and the day of. For a regular cycle thats around the middle. Tracking really helped me pinpoint it instead of guessing.
We are trying too so I have been reading about this. The fertile window is around ovulation, roughly middle of the cycle, those few days matter most. I started tracking mine to understand it better. Hope it helps you.
My gynac explained the most fertile time is around ovulation, roughly the middle of your cycle, about day 14 in a 28 day cycle. The few days before ovulation plus the day itself are the prime window because sperm survive a few days. But it shifts if your cycle length differs.
Middle of your cycle, around ovulation, is when you are most likely to conceive. Count roughly two weeks before your next expected period. The days just before ovulation count too since sperm hang around for a few days.
For regular cycles the mid cycle ovulation window is the answer. But with irregular cycles like mine, that midpoint keeps moving, so it is harder to pin down. If your periods are irregular, ovulation kits or a doctors help make it much clearer.
