My gynac mentioned bpp test in my next visit but I forgot to ask at what stage its usually done. Im 32 weeks now. Anyone knows around which week this happens?
I am just planning my pregnancy and reading up on all these tests. Is BPP a routine scan for everyone, or do they only do it if there is some issue? Hope you get clear answers from others who have gone through this!
BPP scan generally third trimester me hota hai, mostly 32 weeks ke baad agar doctor ko baby ki movement ya fluid check karna ho. Don't worry, ye bas baby ki health and safety double check karne ke liye hota hai. Doctor jaisa bole waisa karo.
Haan, ye test mostly 3rd trimester me, matlab 30-32 weeks ke baad hi hota hai na. Dr baby ki heartbeat aur breathing check karne ke liye karte hain. Sab badhiya hoga, bilkul tention mat lena!
I had gestational diabetes, so my doctor ordered BPP scans regularly in my 9th month to check baby's movement and fluid levels. It is super important to monitor, so make sure you follow your doctor's schedule strictly and eat healthy, low-sugar meals.
I freaked out when my doctor suddenly wrote a BPP scan at 34 weeks, thinking something was wrong with my baby! But it turned out to be a very standard routine scan to monitor baby's movements. It's totally normal and peaceful to watch them on the screen.
In my experience, the doctor advised a BPP scan around my 36th week because my amniotic fluid was slightly on the lower side. It's a very simple and safe ultrasound that checks if the baby is active and happy inside.
I understand how stressful these different scans and medical terms can sound, I used to get so anxious before every ultrasound! BPP is usually done in the late third trimester to ensure baby is doing fine. Please take a deep breath, you and your baby are safe.
