My gynac mentioned a doppler scan in my next visit but didnt really explain when exactly it gets done. Im in my 7th month now. Just wanted to know roughly at which week others got theirs?
Meri mummy bhi poochti rehti thi saare tests ke baare mein. Doppler scan na, woh generally dusre scans ke saath hi karte hain, around 20 weeks jab baby thoda develop ho jata hai. Woh baby ke blood flow ke liye hota hai. Aap apne doc se baat kar lo, woh theek se samjha denge.
Generally, Doppler is part of the routine anomaly scan around 18-22 weeks, or sometimes later in the third trimester if there are specific concerns. It gives crucial info about blood flow. Your gynac will schedule it when needed, so don't stress about the timing, just stick to their appointments.
Uff, I hope you're not having terrible morning sickness like I did. Anyways, about the Doppler, my doc usually included it with my anomaly scan around 20-22 weeks. It helps them check the blood flow to the baby and through the umbilical cord. Just listen to your doctor, they will guide you properly.
Oh god, I remember how much I used to overthink about every test, including the Doppler. My gynac did it around my 20-week anomaly scan, I think, to check blood flow to the baby and placenta. It's perfectly normal, don't worry too much, just ask your doctor all your doubts.
Haan, Doppler ultrasound is for checking blood flow, na? Usually, docs do it around the fifth month or so, when they do the detailed anomaly scan. They check if everything is reaching the baby properly. Just ask your gynac, they'll tell you the exact time.
