When is first scan done during pregnancy?

Just got my positive test, im so happy and scared both. Doc gave me an appointment but no scan yet. When does the first one usually happen? Want to be prepared.

Usually between 6 to 8 weeks to check the dating and heartbeat. Don't go too early like 4-5 weeks or you won't see anything clearly.

Mostly at 6 or 7 weeks to confirm viability. Just book your first gynac appointment and they will schedule it for you.
