Usually around 6-8 weeks they do the first scan to confirm and check the heartbeat. Sometimes the doc waits till 7-8 weeks so the heartbeat is clearly seen. Your gynac will schedule based on your dates.
I am 6 weeks now and my gynac said come at 8 weeks for the first scan. So I think it depends a bit on your dates? Mine wanted to wait so heartbeat shows clearly.
