Im around 6 weeks and have my first scan coming up soon. So nervous yaar, i keep wondering will they be able to see the heartbeat already or is it too early. Anyone remember at what week u first saw it on the scan?
My doctor said the heartbeat is usually visible on ultrasound around 6 to 7 weeks. Sometimes if it's slightly early they ask you to come back in a week or two. Mine was seen at 7 weeks and it was such a relief to hear that flicker.
I freaked out exactly like this when my first scan was too early to show it. The gynac was calm and said it's very normal to wait a week. Came back and the heartbeat was perfect, so try not to worry if it's not seen right away.
I went at 6 weeks and they couldn't see it yet, I panicked so much. Then at 7.5 weeks there it was, strong and clear. Did anyone else have to wait a bit for the heartbeat too?
