Honestly im so confused about the whole ovulation timing thing, my cycle is around 30 days. We just started trying this month and i dont want to miss the window. Which days after period are the best chances? pls help.
Im also TTC and reading about this a lot. From what i understood the fertile days are around the middle of your cycle, ovulation time. For a 28 day cycle thats roughly day 12 to 16ish. Tracking apps helped me figure out my window.
My amma always said the days after period end are the right time, and turns out science says similar, the middle days. But every body is different na. Stay relaxed about it, stress also delays things.
I used an ovulation tracker and also those LH strips, made it so much easier than guessing. The strips show your peak day and we tried around then. Got my BFP in third month doing this.
Count roughly 14 days back from when your next period is due, thats your ovulation. The 2-3 days before that are most fertile. Dont overthink the exact day, just be active through that whole week.
Just adding, if your cycles are irregular like mine were due to PCOS, the standard day count may not apply. Ovulation can shift a lot. In that case its worth getting follicular study done so your doc tells you the right days.
