When is the first ultrasound done for pregnancy?

just got my positive last week and im so eager to actually see something on screen. gynac appointment is next month but i was wondering when the first scan usually happens. when did u all get yours?

Actually, it is done around 7th or 8th week yaar. My gynac told me to wait till then so that the heartbeat is clearly visible. Pehle karoge toh confusion ho sakta hai if dates are off.
