When is the first usg done in pregnancy?

I called clinic after positive test and they said come after some days, not immediately. I am confused because I want to see if everything is okay. When did everyone do first USG?

Mostly the first scan is around 6 to 8 weeks to confirm location and heartbeat. Sometimes doctor calls u a bit earlier if needed. Yours will depend on what gynac decides.

My doctor did the first usg around 7 weeks to confirm it was in the uterus and check heartbeat. She said earlier than that may not show enough. So 6 to 8 weeks is the common window.

Generally around 6 to 8 weeks for the dating and viability scan. I booked mine once I got my positive and saw the gynac. Dont rush before that, theres nothing to see too early.
