Im trying to track my dates properly and everyone keeps talking about the last period date. Got a bit confused about what exactly counts as the last period before getting pregnant. Can someone explain simply?
The last period you had before conceiving is the one they call LMP. Both my pregnancies they asked me this date first thing. Keep track of it on your phone, makes everything easier later.
Actually your pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period, my doc explained this to me. So that LMP date is what they use to calculate due date even though you werent technically pregnant yet. Note it down properly, it really helps in scans.
I just put my last period date in a tracker app and it showed everything, week count, due date all of it. Honestly so convenient na. The first day of that period is what counts.
