When is the right time to do urine pregnancy test?

My period is 2 days late and im so tempted to test right now but scared of getting a wrong result if its too soon. do i wait more? when did u test and get an accurate result?

I got too eager and tested 3 days before my period, faint nothing. Waited and tested after the missed date in the morning, clear two lines. So patience really helps with these, dont rush like I did.

Wait for the missed period and use morning urine, that's the sweet spot.

Best is to wait till at least the day your period is due or a few days after, otherwise u get false negatives. And do it first thing in the morning with the first urine, it's more accurate. I tested too early once and got fooled.

I always check my tracker for the expected period date and test a day or two after a miss. Morning urine gives the clearest line. If it's negative but period still doesnt come, retest after a few days.

My doc said the home test works best from the first day of a missed period because that's when hCG is high enough. Early morning sample preferred. And if there's confusion, a blood test at the lab confirms it more accurately.
