My gynac mentioned this torch test in my last visit and i forgot to ask her at which week its usually done. Im around 8 weeks now. Did u all get it early or later? just trying to understand.

My doctor ordered the torch test early, around the first trimester checkups. It checks for certain infections that can affect the baby. Your gynac decides the right timing based on your case, so ask her when to do it.
I got mine done early along with the other first trimester tests to save extra lab trips. It is one of the costlier panels so I planned it with my other bloodwork. Ask your doctor and the lab about a package, it helped my budget.
It is usually part of the early pregnancy or sometimes pre pregnancy workup. My doctor advised it in the first trimester for me. Best to let your gynac tell you the exact timing for your situation.
