Im 36 weeks now and getting nervous as my date comes closer. Want to know around which week the real labor pain usually begins so im ready. FTM here so everything feels new.
Mine started with mild cramps that built up, but I ended up with a C-section as baby wasnt descending. Everyone's labor onset is different. The main thing is to call your doctor the moment contractions get regular.
Dont worry about knowing the exact moment, your body will tell you. Real labor pains come in a rhythm and keep getting stronger. Keep your hospital bag ready and stay in touch with your doctor as you near the date.
For me real labor started around my due date, the pains came in waves and slowly got closer together. Before that I had some practice contractions that werent regular. Trust me you will start to know when its the real ones.
I am in my last weeks just waiting and waiting, every twinge I think is it time haha. The seniors tell me real labor I wont be able to ignore. Counting days honestly.
Usually labor starts close to 37-40 weeks. Real contractions get stronger, regular and dont stop when you move. If you feel regular tightening, water breaking or any bleeding, head to the hospital and call your doctor.
