I got a positive test but still keep expecting my period because cramps are there. I know it sounds silly but first time pregnancy makes everything confusing. From when did your periods completely stop?

It stops right away normally. But if you actually see bleeding like a period during pregnancy, please dont ignore it, get it checked. Mine turned out fine but I called my doc immediately and thats the right thing.
My gynac explained ki once you are pregnant the lining doesnt shed anymore so periods pause completely. The spotting some women get early on is implantation, totally different thing. She said only after baby comes and breastfeeding settles it slowly returns.
Periods stop the moment you conceive. So once the egg implants, no more cycle till after delivery. The missed period is usually the first sign for most of us.
