Just got my positive test few days back and im already feeling a bit queasy in the mornings. Wondering if its too early for nausea or if this is the start of it. When did it actually kick in for u all?
Usually it kicks in around 6 weeks and settles by the end of first trimester. Eat small frequent meals and dont stay empty stomach, that triggers it. If you cant keep any food or water down, tell your gynac.
Morning sickness, the biggest lie, mine was all day sickness, lol. Ginger biscuits became my best friend. It does fade, just survive the first trimester and you will laugh about it later.
My mom told me to keep lemon or some jeera water handy and it did help me. Mornings were the worst for me. Mild remedies are fine but if its too much, do tell your doctor na.
I felt sick the whole first trimester and worried it would never end. Did it stop around 12-14 weeks for others too? Mine slowly got better, just want to confirm it was normal.
Mine started around week 6 and was worst in the first trimester, ugh. What helped me was small dry snacks like biscuits before getting out of bed and ginger water. It eased a lot by week 14, hang in there.
I kept dry crackers in my bag and at my desk so I never went empty stomach at work. Eating something small every couple hours kept the nausea down. Quick and practical, it got me through the office days.
