Just got my positive test and im barely 5 weeks, no vomiting yet. Some friends say it hits around 6 weeks, kuch log say later. When did urs actually start yaar?
Nausea usually kicks in around the 6th week and lasts till the end of the first trimester. Honestly, dealing with morning sickness was tough, but recovering from my C-section later was a whole different ballgame. Take it easy, eat small meals, and rest as much as u can.
Mine started around week 5 itself, very early! But because I had thyroid issues, my doctor made sure to check my levels regularly along with prescribing mild morning sickness meds. Please make sure you are getting your routine blood tests done and keeping your doctor in the loop.
For me, it started right around the 6th week, and thank god I was at my parents' house. My mom used to give me ginger tea and dry toast first thing in the morning which helped a lot. When did yours start?
Oh god, mine started at week 6 and I literally started googling every single symptom thinking why is it so bad! It is completely normal but I know how stressful it gets. Just stay hydrated and call your doctor if it feels too much to handle, ok?
I am in my second trimester now and thankfully mine started settling after week 13, but the first trimester was so bad. Did anyone else also feel super exhausted along with the morning sickness? I was constantly worried if the baby is getting enough nutrition.
Nausea is quite common around the 6th to 8th week, but please be careful. In my case, I had severe vomiting and dehydration, which led to other complications, so we had to consult my gynac immediately. If you can't keep any liquids down, don't wait at home, just call your doctor.
