We are trying for our first and i honestly dont know which days are the best to try after my period ends. Want to time it right na. Can someone explain how it works?
The most fertile time is around the middle of the cycle, not right after periods usually. For a 28 day cycle thats roughly day 14ish. Track a couple cycles to know your own pattern.
Generally the middle of the month after periods is the chance time amma. But every body is different, so if you are planning, a doctor can guide your exact window calmly.
My doctor explained that conception usually happens around ovulation, which is roughly the middle of your cycle, about 12 to 16 days before the next period. So the fertile window is a few days around that time. She said it varies if your cycles are irregular though.
I used an ovulation tracker app and it showed my fertile window clearly, mid cycle for me. Way easier than calculating by hand. If cycles are irregular the app still helps spot the pattern.
I was figuring this out too before conceiving. The window is around ovulation, middle of the cycle, not immediately after your period ends. Are your cycles regular? That changes the timing a bit.
