My period is 3 days late and im trying not to get too excited but cant help it. Wondering how early the urine test actually shows positive. should i wait a few more days or test now? pls share.
Best is to test on the day your period is late or a day later. Too early and it shows faint or negative even if you are pregnant. Both times I tested after missing and got clear lines.
Urine tests pick up the hcg hormone, which rises after the embryo implants. Usually you get a clear positive around the day of your missed period or a couple days after. My doc said first morning urine gives the strongest result.
I tracked everything on an app. It said test 14 days after ovulation. I did exactly that morning and got two lines. Early testing just stressed me out earlier.
From what I understood, the hormone needs a few days to build up enough to show in urine. So missed period time onwards is when its reliable. Is that right ladies?
