When scan is done during pregnancy?

First pregnancy and i dont really know the timeline of scans. like at which weeks do they usually do them and how many in total? i had one early already and just want to be prepared for the rest. pls share.

I have my anomaly scan coming up around 20 weeks and Im a little nervous and excited. So far Ive had two scans. Did you all also feel anxious before each one?

Your doctor will tell you each scan date, just follow their schedule.

There are usually 3 to 4 main scans through pregnancy, more if the doctor wants closer monitoring. Just a tip, ask the hospital for the scan schedule upfront so you can budget, they do add up. Mine planned them out nicely at the start.

My gynac scheduled a dating scan around 7-8 weeks, the NT scan around 11-13 weeks, the anomaly scan around 18-20 weeks, and growth scans later. The exact timing can vary a bit per doctor. They tell you each one in advance so you can plan.
