Saw some online calculators that tell u the right day to test and got curious. My cycle is a bit irregular so im never sure when to actually do the test. Do these calculators really work for u all?
Those calculators usually go by your last period date and cycle length to suggest a test date, basically around the day your next period is due or a day after. I used one and it told me to test on the missed period day. Pretty handy.
Simple rule, test on or just after the day your period was supposed to come. The calculators just do this maths for you using your cycle length. Wait for the missed period for an accurate result, dont jump early.
I used an online one and it said wait 14 days after ovulation. I was so impatient though! Did the calculator date work accurately for anyone? For me testing on the suggested day gave a clear result finally.
Honestly you dont even need a fancy calculator. Just count to when your period is due and test then. The apps are nice for a reminder but the missed period day is your simple answer.
