My period is 3 days late and i keep wanting to test but im scared of getting a wrong result too early. Dont really know the right timing for this. When did you take yours for an accurate answer?
Best is to test after your period is missed, ideally a day or two after the due date. Testing too early gives faint or false negatives. Both times I tested with first morning urine for the clearest result.
My app reminded me to test the day after my expected period. Morning urine is the most concentrated so hCG shows better then. If it's negative but period still doesnt come, retest after 3-4 days.
I was so eager I tested 3 days early and got a negative, felt crushed, then positive after missed period. So wait for the missed period if you can, save yourself that little heartbreak. Mine showed nausea even before the test turned positive.
