When should the first pregnancy scan be done?

Im around 6 weeks by my dates and not sure when the first scan is usually done. Excited to see something on screen honestly. When did u all have urs?

Usually the first scan is around 6 to 8 weeks to confirm the pregnancy and heartbeat. Your gynac will tell you the exact timing. Earlier if you have bleeding or pain, then go sooner.

My doctor said the early dating scan is usually between 6 and 9 weeks, and the bigger NT scan comes around 11 to 13 weeks. She planned both for me. Best to follow your own gynac schedule as it can vary.
