Wait till your period is at least one day late, then test with first morning urine. Testing too early just gives faint or wrong results. I tested early both times and panicked for nothing.
I tracked my cycle on an app and tested the day after missed period. Morning sample is best because hcg is more concentrated then. The app reminder helped me not test too soon honestly.
